We believe that we need to discover and unlock how YOUR team or teams need to be structured to work more effectively. Do I actually have a team?

Strange question? Not really. There are a LOT of presentations and trainings done on “team building” or “creating a better team” or “making an effective team” when in fact the people in the audience ARE NOT A TEAM.

A company is NOT a team. It is fine, great and necessary to share a common vision, theme or “flag” however in reality a company is a series of teams combined with many individual contributors. In working with Partner Learning Solutions, the first thing we will determine is how the people who will participate are connected, or not.

Do they share common management?
Do they share common goals and objectives?
Do they share specific KPI’s?

How does their individual contribution impact the broader team? How is “team” communication undertaken? Once we have a clear picture of this, we can proceed to question two.

How effective is the team today?

What direction does the qualitative data show the team is heading?
What are the measurements and how often?
What kind of qualitative discussions are conducted for the TEAM (not the individuals?)
How clear are the goals and objectives and does everyone understand them?

Do we have the right people on the team?

How does this team compare to other teams? Is there clear leadership?
Is communication clear, timely, consistent? What is the decision-making process?
What is the environment that allows new ideas/challenges?
